MONK STRAP SHOES
A collection of leather shoes made by the Gut-Earl manufacturing method for MADE IN JAPAN.
The Gut-Earlt method is one of the shoe manufacturing methods, and is a method of mechanizing a hand-sewn method called hand-sewn-Welted.
A thin band-shaped leather called leather, back leather and fine leather is sewn on the part called the rib of the tape attached to the middle floor, and the thin leather and sole are sewn.
Since the sole and the instep are not directly sewn, if the sole is worn out, it can be repaired by replacing the entire sole called the allsole with a new one.
This manufacturing method takes a lot of time to complete the shoes because the process is complicated, and because it is structurally robust, it has a relatively heavy and hard finish, but it is sturdy and stable, has excellent walking and buffering properties, and has a feature that makes it difficult to get tired even when walking for a long time.
There are three types of materials: Himeji full vegetable tannin natural shrink leather, enamel leather, and Italian weak waterproof velour leather.
The process of making "skin" into "leather" is called "nameshi". In this evolving nameshi process, there are "tannin nameshi" that is licked with plants and "chrome nameshi" that is licked with chemicals.
The tannin-like leather and the chrome-like leather have no major difference at first glance.
However, when compared with chrome leather, tannin leather is hard, heavy and weak to water and dirt, making it difficult to handle.
The more you use the tannin-like leather, the more you use it, the more you will feel the tasteful expression and the more you will feel luxury.
This is why many cuffers are particularly particular about tannins.
As a feature of vegetable tannin leather, it is attractive that the more you use it, the more it changes to a deep color that is familiar to your hands and body, but as a feature, some fading occurs, but it is because it makes use of the leather-like texture as it is .
In addition, although there are quite a few blood streaks and tigers (shiwa) as proof that animals were alive, the leather is dyed with transparent dye that makes use of the leather.
Wing chips (Wing tips), which are contrasted with wings (Wing) on the toe, have a mule-shaped lining with real fur.
We also offer new double monk strap-type shorts.
By adopting rubber inside the strap, it is easy to open and close, and it also creates a fitting feeling.
The buckle is engraved with 3 pieces of 1piu1uguale.
Hanging and sewing are performed with the thickness of the original skin, and the sewing thread is made of thick thread and the needle is calculated to have no bones.
The soles are designed with half soles for practicality and maintenance.
It can be said that it is a leather shoe that embodies the essence of making Japanese shoes with detailed details.
